Call it the curse of the "rented apartment unimaginative bathrooms", or the mere societal convention of plain/white/functionality triumphing over creativity and irreverence. Most bathrooms we are exposed to are all about utilitarian function, and less about seducing the senses and creating sensational lingering areas for pampering/going about your business. I was marveled at coming across this design trend .I found the clever and original use of dark colors in such an environment, to be very inviting and uniquely inspiring. Sharing with the world!

I cherish the childhood memories of carefully and consistently flipping through pages of my illustrated books, glimpsing into the remarkable lives of characters, living vicariously through the colorful and mesmerizing images that illustrated the countless stories. Perhaps it was then that I started loving colors and an abundance of vibrancy in visuals. While researching, I came across illustrations which marked my early years and brought a lot of joy in dull moments. Thought I'd share!

It's when you know your struggle no longer defines and confines you. It's when you achieve a substantial  relieving shift in situations & thoughts. It can come at a steep price. Yet, it can also change your life :)

It's been a hectic month, but thought I'd make a post on something which has always been very dear to me. Having spent yesterday recreating a makeup/hair look from the 30's for a magazine shoot, I browsed through my many references of the decade. Such glamorous style and fashions are wonderfully inspiring to say the least. From the beautifully coiffed hair to the pencil-thin eyebrows, the charm of the 30's is evident in these little gems of images!
